Refund & cancellation policy

This page explains how refunds, returns, and cancellations work at robotnurse.io, for every kind of thing we sell. It's written in plain language and states what we actually do. If anything is unclear, write hello@robotnurse.io and a human will sort it out with you.

RobotNurse is a small New Jersey operation. Digital downloads are sold and delivered through Gumroad; services (advisory sessions, the setup audit, workshops, and the Care and Managed plans) are paid through Stripe. Neither one shares your card number with us.

How things are delivered

Different things we sell are delivered differently, and the refund rules follow from that:

• Digital downloads (Serving Config Pack $29, Local-LLM Hardware Buyer's Toolkit $49, Toolkit + Config Pack Bundle $69) are delivered instantly and automatically by Gumroad after payment. There's no shipping and no waiting.
• Advisory sessions ($250 single / $650 pack) are scheduled calls; the "delivery" is the engineer's time on the calendar.
• Recurring plans (Care $750/month, Managed $2,500/month) are monthly retainers that renew until you cancel.
• Audit ($899) and workshops ($3,000 half day) are scheduled, scoped engagements delivered on-site or remotely at a booked time.

Digital goods

• 30-day refund: if a download doesn't help you, email hello@robotnurse.io within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full through Gumroad.
• Broken or missing download: if the files won't open or don't match the product page, tell us and we'll fix it or refund you in full. This isn't time-limited.

Advisory sessions

• Advisory sessions ($250 single / $650 three-session pack) are non-refundable once paid.
• Need a different time? Let us know at least 24 hours before the session and we'll reschedule it.

Recurring plans (Care and Managed)

• Plans renew monthly and can be cancelled at any time from the Stripe billing portal or by emailing hello@robotnurse.io.
• Care and Managed payments are non-refundable, including part-months. A cancellation stops the next renewal; service continues through the end of the month you've already paid for.

Audit

• The $899 audit is a documented review of your hardware, workload, and privacy posture, delivered at a booked time. The audit fee is non-refundable once paid. Let us know at least 48 hours before the booked time and we'll reschedule it.

Workshops

• Workshops are scheduled, scoped engagements. You can reschedule or cancel for a full refund up to 7 days before the scheduled date; after that the fee is non-refundable.

On-site visits

• On-site setup visits follow the rule already in the Terms of Service: cancelled less than 48 hours before the appointment are non-refundable; re-scheduling with notice is free.

How refunds are issued

Digital-download refunds go back through Gumroad. Workshop refunds go back to the original card through Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days, depending on the card issuer.
